Sometimes we can feel stuck. Whatever the reason is, usually there is a dramatic change in our world, and the sense of certainity, security can be easily lost or shaken.
We can also feel that without any reason something isn't right in our lives. Something is missing. We would like to find meaning, purpose, or simply we feel that everything is running around us and we don't even know where we are. We would like to stop or slow down but we don't know how we could do that.
We all can reach a point in our lives when we would like to change ourselves or the situation, when we would like to become someone else, to develop, explore, really live, not just survive every day.
Sometimes we need a person who will listen to us, who understands us, who accepts us, who asks us about some really important questions.
I graduated as a psychologist with specialization in clinical and health psychology (MA). I will be shortly finishing my PhD studies. My research interest includes emotion regulation, psychological flexibility, experiential avoidance. I find it very important to pay attention to my personal development, in order to be there with my whole being to support others.
I have worked for almost a decade in a multinational corporate environment. Therefore, I have experience the difficulties of creating and maintaining the life-work balance. In my opinion everyone deserves a place where she/he can grow personally and contribute to the bigger, but we also have to take steps and make decisions to arrive to that place.
I believe in the complex connection of mind, body and soul, that we all are here to create something only we can do. I am convinced that our emotions are like compasses in our lives, by exploring and accepting their message we can get along and find a better way. I am here to listen to you, to explore your opportunities towards a better future, a new way to go. I truly believe everyone is capable of changing his/her life for the better.
During a psychological consultation I work with mentally healthy individuals in order to help them to solve their present issues in everyday life, and to promote their well-being.
I am committed to create an accepting, non-judgemental, supportive, humanistic atmosphere known from positive psychology. I treat every client as an autonomous, unique individual guiding them in the process of self-actualization and personal growth. The focus of the work is on the clients' present difficulties regarding certain life domains. My aim is to encourage them to make their choices in life, to promote their self-awareness, and to build on their strengths. I work under supervision.
